Request a transcript
Copies of student record transcripts may be obtained directly from the Boston Public Schools. Such requests should be submitted to the school or district and not to the City of Boston Archives Division.
If your high school is still operating...
To obtain a transcript from a Boston public high school that is still operating, fill out a School Transcript Request Form and fax it directly to the school. Contact information for each school is on the schools listings page.
If your high school has closed, merged, or been renamed...
Some Boston Public Schools have undergone changes, including closure, merging or renaming. If you attended a school that has since merged into another school, the transcript request usually can be processed by the school into which it merged. Schools whose name has changed also typically maintain transcript records. Transcripts from closed schools can be obtained through the BPS Office of Student Support Services by submitting a Transcript Request Form.
