BPSExpress enables parents and guardians to complete some of the school registration process before visiting a Family Resource Center. This pre-registration application is only for families registering a child not currently enrolled in the Boston Public Schools. If your child already attends BPS, he or she will receive a registration form at school.
Through BPSExpress, families enter contact information and make preliminary school selections to save time when completing the process at any Family Resource Center. IMPORTANT NOTE: The child's parent or legal guardian must visit a Family Resource Center with the appropriate paperwork to complete the registration process!
Schedule:
BPS Express will partially open in early November, allowing users to pre-populate most of their information for registration. However, the step that allows users to make school selections will not be open until December, when a final list of schools, locations and hours will be ready.

Families can also use the new DiscoverBPS.org or "What Are My Schools?" application to see a list of schools for which they are eligible to apply (noting schools with walk zone priority and/or transportation provided) without pre-registering.
