School Preview Time
November 3, 2008 - January 23, 2009
Every elementary, K-8, middle and high school in the district will host three or more open houses, school tours, or other activities to welcome prospective families.
Important note: Superintendent Carol R. Johnson has proposed, and the Boston School Committee has approved, the "Pathways to Excellence" plan, which includes recommendations to relocate, expand, consolidate and close some schools.
In all cases, be sure to call the school to confirm the date and time of any open house or other event.

Citywide Showcase of Schools

Every school in the district is represented at the Showcase, with principals, staff, students and parents present to describe what each school has to offer.
Registration
Begins January 5, 2009, for students entering Kindergarten, Grade 6 and Grade 9.
