BPS 'Hidden Gems' video series showcases great school teams
In an effort to help parents learn more about the amazing work taking place in classrooms across the District, today the Boston Public Schools launched the Hidden Gem Series, which will highlight one school each month with a video posted to the BPS website and social media.
The first school is the Mendell Elementary School, a NAEYC-accredited school on the Roxbury/Jamaica Plain border, which serves approximately 230 students from pre-kindergarten through Grade 5. The Mendell is a member of the BPS Inclusive Schools Network, which means it offers shared learning opportunities for students with disabilities and their non-disabled peers.
In the months ahead BPS will feature the outstanding students, teachers, and staff in other schools who work hard to ensure all students succeed.
