Budget Hearing

PLEASE NOTE:  In order to give the public an opportunity to offer constructive feedback on the FY11 budget, the School Committee has rescheduled the upcoming budget hearings to take place after the March 10 School Committee meeting. At the March 10 meeting, BPS Chief Financial Officer John McDonough will present more detail about how the district proposes to close the remaining $32.5 million budget gap for FY11.

Therefore, the February 25, March 8 and March 10 budget hearings are CANCELED and the new dates are as follows:

Thursday, March 11, 6-8 p.m.

Monday, March 15, 6-8 p.m.
Madison Park Technical Vocational High School (Cardinal Hall)
75 Malcolm X Blvd., Roxbury

Wednesday, March 24, 5-6 p.m.
Winter Chambers, Boston Public Schools Headquarters
26 Court Street, Downtown
