One important way for parents and other caregivers to have meaningful involvement in their child's education is through serving in a leadership role on the School Parent Council (SPC) Executive Committee or the School Site Council (SSC).
The Boston Public Schools Office of Family & Student Engagement is offering a training to help parents and staff learn how to facilitate and publicize SPC and SSC elections, and to learn more about the important role these councils play in school decision-making.
