Directions to Boston School Dept. at 26 Court St.:
Heading from the North:
Take Interstate 93 Southbound to the Haymarket Sq. exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto New Chardon St. Follow New Chardon St. to the first set of traffic signals, beyond the Haymarket Sq. MBTA Station, at Congress St. Take a left onto Congress St. Follow Congress St. past three sets of traffic signals (the first set is the intersection of Congress & Sudbury St. & the second is a mid-block crosswalk). The second set of traffic signals is located behind the JFK Federal Bldg. on the right. The third set is located behind a stairway from City Hall Plaza. The fourth set is at the intersection of State St. Turn right at lights. The Boston Public School Dept., which is located at 26 Court St., is 100 yards on the left past the Old State House.
From the South:
Take Southeast Expressway to Tunnel. Exit tunnel at Government Center exit. Turn left onto State St., go to Old State House at intersection of Congress St. Pass the Old State House (on your left) to 26 Court St. which is on your left, approximately 100 yards from the intersection.
From the West:
Take Mass Pike (Interstate 90) to Central Artery North (Interstate 93) to the Tunnel. Exit the tunnel at the Government Center. exit. Turn left onto State St. to Old State House at intersection of Congress St. Pass the Old State House (on your left) to 26 Court St. which is on your left, approximately 100 yards from the intersection.
By Public Transportation:
Take the Green Line to Government Center Station. Exit Government Center Station onto City Hall Plaza. Take right turn upon exiting station. Court St. is approximately 100 feet from the station exit. Cross over to 26 Court St.
Nearby parking lots:
One Beacon Street, at the corner of Tremont and Beacon, just past corner of Tremont & Court St., across from King's Chapel.
Washington St. near the intersection of State/Court streets. After passing 26 Court St., turn left on Tremont, left on School St., left on Washington St. Entrance is on the left.
